On the occasion of his doctoral celebration, "Doc" Bob Siggins poses with his inflatable party duck -- which may be responsible for the Charles River Valley Boys' occasional nickname, the Chubby Rubber Duck Boys. Three decades of diligent research in Charles River Valleyana, however, have failed to explain the origin of another less-known monicker, the Charred Liver Alley Boys.
